Jack Rogers is the co founder and resident of Down To Funk, which has been showcasing artists from across the varied dance music spectrum for the last 4 years in Liverpool. Jack started Down To Funk after leaving university as one of a handful of promoters running nights in the newly opened Constellations. Since then the party has gone mobile, taking up residence in venues all over the city, as well as expanding its roster to include Auntie Flo, Crazy P Soundsystem, DJ Boring, Baltra and Moodymann. More recently Jack has cast his attention to the burgeoning North Docks area of the city, having opened a small music and arts hub – Meraki which he runs with friends. In the brief time since its inauguration the venue has become known for its intimate, close knit atmosphere as well as its dedication to quality sound. Jack is known for his ecclectic range, usually pinned down by a soulful aesthetic, and is to be found playing sets regularly in the Kazimier and Constellations.
